How two weeks with AI turned three decades of notes into a first book — and what it says about where GlobalTek goes next   Three years ago, the Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank Cultural and Educational Foundation invited me to speak at its forum as a founder and operator — about how I have built and governed teams, and what starting companies has taught me. I went in simply to share what I had learned, as candidly as I could. The organizers, it turned out, recorded the entire session and catalogued it with real care. Three years on, they have edited and proofread the transcript, sent it back for my review, and plan to publish it, alongside the life stories of the other business leaders in the series, in the third volume of the book collection drawn from their “Meet the Entrepreneurs” lecture program.   How two weeks with AI turned three decades of notes into a first book — and what it says about where GlobalTek goes next  

On August 12, I attended EMBA Magazine’s 40th Anniversary Appreciation Event, where I watched The Moment That Matters: Frances Hesselbein, The Quiet Transformer. The documentary traces more than a century of life and leadership through the remarkable story of Frances Hesselbein, whom management thinker Peter Drucker once described as “the greatest leader in the world.”
